Our first swim collection launched late last fall with the essentials — the bare basics to get you in the water.
As I started thinking about expanding the collection, it felt important to round out our one-piece offering with a few styles that provided more coverage. I also really wanted to focus on surf suits for women who spend hours in warm water — the kind of suits you don’t have to think about once you’re out there.
Spring 2026 introduces four new styles: two one-pieces and two surf suits.
My approach to swim has always been about simplicity paired with functionality. I was having a hard time finding suits that felt classic and feminine, but were also built for long days in the water. And just as important, I wanted them to actually last — to hold up through sun, salt, and repeat wear for more than just one season.
Color was another big piece for me. Everything is inspired by the California landscape — tones that feel natural and easy to come back to year after year. We expanded our best-selling color, Willow, into two new silhouettes, and introduced Fin Blue, which is a nod to the ocean life moving just below the surface.
Spring 2026 Styles:
- Cross Back Surf Suit
- Sullivan One Piece
- Cove One Piece
- LS Summer Shade Suit
The process for these suits started at the beginning of 2025. I’m not a designer by trade — my background is in spreadsheets and product strategy — so the first versions were literally hand drawings that I sent to the factory, along with measurements and notes to build from.
I had my first prototypes ready for a trip to Sumatra last April, where I was able to test them in warm water and get real feedback. They weren’t ready. Not even close. I specifically remember a few pretty bad misses with the Cross Back Surf Suit.
After that trip, I came home, made adjustments, and tested again in Hawaii in August. At that point, they were almost there. I could have pushed to hit a January delivery, but it didn’t feel right — so we held off and made one last round of refinements.

The LS Summer Shade Suit is the first one I grab when I know I’m heading into a long day in the water. I love not having to constantly think about sunscreen — the suit does that work for me. Because it’s so simple, the fit had to be perfect, and after multiple rounds, it really is. It’s easy, flattering, and comfortable for hours.

The Cross Back Surf Suit is exactly what it sounds like — a double cross-back design with a retro shorty cut. The straps keep your shoulders free from chafing, and the shorty shape makes it easy to go from the water to stretching or just hanging around after. Paired with our Driftwater Hoody, it’s kind of the ideal post-surf, grab-a-snack outfit. I honestly don’t want to take it off.
This collection took longer than I expected — but good things come to those who wait ... and a much better fit and fine details. Even Stooby got into the quality control each time protos came.
