I grew up with long beach days, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches wrapped in tin foil from a cooler, and—if we were lucky—a thermos of cold grape Kool-Aid. My mom, aunts, and cousins would spend hours on the sandy shores looking for shark teeth and playing mermaids. From the start I loved the outdoors, the ocean, and clothing.
After earning my fashion degree, I moved to New York City—deeply influenced by Rachel from Friends. But something about the fashion industry there never quite fit. I got married and moved to Austin, Texas during the peak of “Keep Austin Weird,” where I discovered mountain biking and rock climbing. I landed my perfect job as a buyer at Whole Earth Provision Co., and we spent a decade in Texas growing our little family and loving it. But eventually, the ocean called.
That call brought us to Ventura, CA, where I found a dream role with a major outdoor brand. I spent another decade building lifestyle outdoor apparel while also running a side gig on their women’s surf team. Some relationships aren’t meant to last forever—but they often open doors to new ones.
I love creating apparel that is functional, classic, elegant, and refined. I believe in a small capsule wardrobe built with love and made as sustainably as possible. Coastal Range brings together a lifetime of living near the ocean with decades of experience bringing thoughtful, ethically made products to market. I hope you’ll follow along and join us as we grow.
Coastal Range is built out of a deep love for the sweet space between the mountains and the ocean. It is an ode to our love for the sea and to the deep, timeless connection between women and water.
We create with intention: a small capsule wardrobe of functional, classic, and well made pieces designed for a life lived near the shore. We are not afraid to show feminine beauty alongside strength and power. We refuse to be defined by the narrow parameters of traditional surf and outdoor brands. We believe women should never have to choose between being beautiful and being strong, between elegance and function. We believe women of all ages belong in the water learning, trying, stumbling, and moving forward. And we believe that beauty only deepens with age, never something to hide or diminish.
Coastal Range is not just an apparel brand, but a community of women encouraging and supporting one another. We celebrate the everyday wins as much as the extraordinary ones - the small steps, the quiet progress, the shared joy. We cheer for inspiring athletes and hand out high-fives in the local lineups.
